Rama Sita Lakshmana set

Set of three lost wax castings in bronze of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana. Missing prabhavalli.

Rama seated in a full lotus meditation posture on a pedestal holding his bow and quiver of arrows. His left hand is positioned in Vitara mudra, signifying his knowledge and wisdom while his right hand positioned at the heart, Dahara Mudra, signifies Rama’s contemplation of the Lord of the heart. He is adorned with crown, bracelets at his wrists and upper arms and anklets on his legs. His ears are pierced for the personal addition of jewels. Sita and Lakshmana are also adorned with jewels. Sita holds a lotus bud and offers a boon of giving as does Lakshmana. Lakshmana carries what could be a fly whisk
